Atwell Peak, part of the Garibaldi Massif, is foreboding and dramatic. This photo was taken in March 2018, during a 45km ski traverse through Garibaldi Park.

For much of the day Atwell loomed above us, it's jagged rock and blue ice reminding us that we were mere visitors, who had been granted the temporary privilege of safe passage.
